Dr. Nnamdi Tobechukwu Ekeanyanwu, the immediate past National Coordinating Secretary of ACCE is now the new National President/Coordinator of ACCE for the next two years. This followed his victory at the polls during the 19th AGM held at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru, Jos from October 31 to November 3, 2017.

The African Council for Communication Education (ACCE, Nigeria Chapter) is happy to announce that one of us, Professor Dayo Alao of Babcock University, has been appointed President/Vice-Chancellor, Adeleke University, Ede, Osun State, Nigeria.

Before this deserved elevation, Professor Alao was a former Chairman/CEO of Daily Times of Nigeria PLC; HOD, Mass Communication Babcock University and Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences of Babcock University. Professor Alao was also a former Deputy Vice Chancellor at Babcock University and until his recent appointment, the Provost, College of Management and Social Sciences, Babcock University.
