They are Professor (Pastor) Williams Rotimi Olatunji, a professor of Public Relations and Advertising, Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos state and Professor Nnayelugo Okoro, a professor of Advertising, Public Relations, and Representational Communication, University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

The Department of Linguistics and Communication Studies, University of Portharcourt, Portharcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria has won the hosting rights for the 18th National Conference and AGM. The decision was announced and approved by the 17th Annual General Meeting of the African Council for Communication Education held at the University of Calabar, Calabar, Cross River State of Nigeria.
By this announcement, the 18th National Conference and AGM of the African Council for Communication Education will hold at the University of Portharcourt, Portharcourt, Rivers State in October 2016. The Conference is tagged UNIPORT 2016. Details will be released soon.

The African Council for Communication Education (ACCE) holds her 17th National Conference and AGM at the beautiful and serene campus of the University of Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria. The conference from October 20 to 23, 2015.
The conference had delegates from more than 200 Universities and other higher institutions of learning in Nigeria and Diaspora. Over three hundred abstracts were presented on theme ” Communication, Language, and the 2015 General Elections in Nigeria.
