The ACCE also publishes a scholarly journal (Africa Media Review), monographs, manuals, and other works to sustain scholarship in media practice and education. Currently the journal is being supported by CODESRIA.
ACCE has two types of affiliation – individual and institutional. Membership dues form a major source of funding for the association. Other sources include sponsorships, grants and sale of its publications.
ACCE Nigeria Chapter is among the surviving chapters of the continental body. It is as old as the continental body and continues to pioneer excellence in media education and research. The Nigerian chapter publishes a reputable journal ”The Nigerian Journal of Communication” which is currently supported by TETFUND.
ACCE Nigerian Chapter has two flagship publications thus:
- The Nigerian Journal of Communication
- A Peer Reviewed Book of Reading from its Annual Conferences and AGM.
